چکیده

Nucleon-nucleon (NN) interactions are well constrained for relative momenta k 2 fm−1 by existing scattering data [1]. The model dependences for larger momenta can be seen, for instance, in the P2 superfluid pairing gaps for Fermi momenta kF > 2 fm−1 [2]. In Ref. [3], we study in detail the dependence of the S0 superfluid gap on nuclear interactions at the BCS level, and on the resolution scale. For the RG evolution to low-momentum interactions Vlow k, we define a reduced interaction v(k, k′) through V (k, k′) = f(k′) v(k′, k) f(k), where f(k) denotes a sharp or smooth regulator with variable cutoff Λ. Starting from an NN interaction with large cutoff v(k, k′) = VNN(k, k′), we use the RG equation [4] dv(k′, k) dΛ = 1

Dependence of the BCS 1 S 0 superfluid pairing gap on nuclear interactions

We study in detail the dependence of the S0 superfluid pairing gap on nuclear interactions and on charge-independence breaking at the BCS level. Starting from chiral effective-field theory and conventional nucleon-nucleon (NN) interactions, we use the renormalization group to generate low-momentum interactions Vlow k with sharp and smooth regulators. The resulting BCS gaps are well constrained ...

Screening Effects in Superfluid Nuclear and Neutron Matter within Brueckner Theory

Effects of medium polarization are studied for 1S0 pairing in neutron and nuclear matter. The screening potential is calculated in the RPA limit, suitably renormalized to cure the low density mechanical instability of nuclear matter. The selfenergy corrections are consistently included resulting in a strong depletion of the Fermi surface. All medium effects are calculated based on the Brueckner...

We investigate the 1S0 neutron and proton superfluidity in isospin asymmetric nuclear matter. We have concentrated on the isospin dependence of the pairing gaps and the effect of a microscopic threebody force. It is found that as the isospin asymmetry goes higher, the neutron 1S0 superfluid phase shrinks gradually to a smaller density domain, while the proton one extends rapidly to a much wider...
